Saleem Iftekhar is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and the resident executive at Si3 Islamabad. He comes with over 15 years of experience in project management of IT and
Engineering-related projects within the defense sector. This is a part of his 33 year long career in operations and management of technical support services for sophisticated electronics and avionics systems, IT systems, data networking systems and automated test equipments.
Saleem is involved in processes and methodologies that are applied for effective project management support to clients. Saleem provides mentoring in execution and control of projects and works with cross-functional specialist teams to develop project management plans
Prior to joining Si3, Saleem acquired a broad spectrum of technical and project management experience while working in the Pakistan Air Force, Oil & Gas Development Corporation and private sector IT training organizations. Saleem retired as an Air Commodore of the Pakistan Air Force where he was instrumental in aligning and revamping the IT infrastructure.
For his distinguished service to the military, Saleem has been awarded the Star of Excellence. He possesses a Masters
Degree in Electrical Engineering from USA and has attended professional courses offered by IBM, General Dynamics (now
Lockheed Martin).
