Corporate Pakistan got together to participate in the first ever universal PAKISATAN EXPO held from February 2nd-5th, 2005. The President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf inaugurated the exhibition at the Expo Center, Karachi. The objective of turning Karachi into the “Expo City” was to increase export and to extend the international appeal for Pakistani products by having a sourcing event, showcasing the premium products and services available from Pakistan.

The exhibition was a hallmark of the National Trade Policy and was well executed by Export Promotion Bureau.

The Expo received positive feedback from participants and visitors; particularly foreign visitors recognized it as a good medium for 'Image Building' of the country. Commerce Ministers, Foreign Trade Ministers, and Opinion Leaders from almost 80 countries were invited in an effort to project Pakistan as a rising and dynamic nation. Also among the 500 exhibitors, were Si3 and PSEB displaying that Pakistan is not only experienced in textiles, leather, food products, carpet, automobiles, and furniture industry but has the potential to be a global IT player as well.

As an IT services company, Si3 introduced its three core domains of Consulting, System Integration and Outsourcing. Visitors to Si3 stall appreciated the focus of the company on the three domains which is a unique service being offered by an IT services company in Pakistan. The exhibition also highlighted other achievements in IT products like software, hardware, communications, cables and peripherals and data processing devices.
